🎨 OPEN CALL: Art Start!

Submission Deadline: 23 August 2024

We invite you to submit artworks for sale at the second Art Start event. Whether it’s a small piece, a new creation, or something from your studio’s spring clean, we want it!

📅 Exhibition Date: 3 November
📍 Location: First Sunday at Victoria Yards

We’re looking for small works on paper and canvas by 13 October.

Our Vision:
* Make art accessible to a wider audience
* Support a charitable cause
* Promote emerging artists

Cost Structure:
* Artworks priced at R1000.00 or less
* 5% of proceeds donated to Timbuktu
* Artists receive 75% of proceeds
* Unsold works returned to artists

About Timbuktu:
Timbuktu in the Valley empowers local youth by sharing knowledge and skills to break the cycle of generational poverty. Based in Victoria Yards, this organisation exposes young people to various career paths, indigenous and traditional African knowledge, and aims to cultivate active, conscious agents of change.
